Deliverable: Mobile App
Role: Product Designer
cinema continue to be a vital component of Humans leisure
Since the birth of cinema, it has consistently stood as a primary source of human entertainment. Over time, with advancements like cinematic cameras and breathtaking scenes, the allure of the silver screen has endured. Today, despite various entertainment options, cinemas continue to be a vital component of our leisure, making the movie experience a timeless and cherished activity.
The goal
Recognizing the role of cinemas in modern entertainment, a cutting-edge cinema ticketing mobile app, emerges as a solution to seamlessly accelerating the ticketing process. An App that prioritizes a user-centered approach, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience, and aims to simplify the ticketing journey for individuals of all ages.
Understanding the user
I conducted interviews and crafted empathy maps to pinpoint key user groups. As a result, I identified two primary segments: students gathering after school, requiring seamless movie information sharing, and families seeking an effortless ticketing experience. This guided a design focus on user-friendly features for collaborative decision-making among students and a hassle-free ticketing journey for families.
User Pain Points:
• Complex Ticket Booking Process: Users find frustration in a slow and convoluted ticket booking process that involves multiple steps.
• Difficulty in Seat Selection: The lack of available seat information in some apps poses a challenge for users attempting to select adjacent seats, particularly when attending movies in groups.
• Limited Awareness of Discounts: Users, especially those on a tight budget, express a desire for cinema ticketing apps that offer discounts or notify them about low-priced movie times.
• Insufficient Movie Information for Families: Users, particularly those with families, face frustration due to the lack of comprehensive information on child-friendly movies within cinema ticketing apps.

Starting the Design
The process below begins with my initial ideas wireframes, then moves to mockups, and finally to the high-fidelity prototype. Taking the time to draft iterations for each screen of the app, ensured the elements that made it to digital wireframes would be well-suited to address user pain points.
Digital wireframes
I brought my ideas to an interactive digital low-fidelity prototype and brought it to five potential users to collect feedback.
